Meet Katya
Herbalist, teacher, and the heart behind Katina Trava. I believe that every plant has a story — and every person deserves to hear it.

How it all began
I grew up in a small village where my grandmother was the one everyone came to for herbal teas and traditional recipes. She knew every plant by name, by smell, by the way it felt between her fingers. She taught me to listen to nature before asking anything from it.
Those childhood walks through dewy meadows became the foundation of everything I do today. What started as curiosity turned into a deep calling — to understand plants, to study their chemistry, their folklore, and their quiet strength.

Gentle, honest, rooted
I don't believe in miracle cures or overnight transformations. Plants are part of a slow, gentle culture of living. My approach is grounded in respect: for the herbs, for the traditions that carry their knowledge, and for every person who comes here curious to learn.
I combine traditional herbalism with modern understanding. Everything I share has roots in both ancestral wisdom and scientific research. I'm always learning, always curious, and always honest about what herbs can and cannot do.
A few words from me
I wanted to introduce myself not just in text, but face to face. In this short video I share what Katina Trava means to me, how I work with herbs, and what I hope you'll find here.
Sometimes the best way to understand someone is to simply hear them speak.

Slow is powerful
Real change takes time. I advocate for patience, rituals, and mindful living over quick fixes.
