These Terms of Use apply to the Katina Trava website, including the Herb Library, the Herbal Information Assistant and user accounts (together, the “Service”). By using the Service you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Educational information only

Everything on this website — the herb descriptions, articles, videos and the answers of the Herbal Information Assistant — is provided for general educational and informational purposes only. It is based on publicly available botanical, historical and traditional herbal knowledge and is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease or medical condition.

Nothing on the Service constitutes medical, pharmaceutical or individual health advice, and it must not be used as a substitute for consultation with a qualified healthcare professional. Individual responses to herbs vary. Before using any herb — particularly if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, have a medical condition, take medication, or are considering use for a child — consult an appropriately qualified healthcare professional. In an emergency, contact your local emergency services.

3. Herbal Information Assistant

The Herbal Information Assistant generates its answers automatically with the help of an artificial-intelligence language model. Its answers may be incomplete, out of date or incorrect, and they are not reviewed by a person before you see them. You use the assistant at your own discretion and should verify important information with reliable sources and qualified professionals.

Please do not enter sensitive personal information (for example, detailed medical records or data about other people) into the assistant.

4. Your account

• You must provide a valid e-mail address and keep your login details confidential.
• You are responsible for all activity that happens under your account.
• One person may not create multiple accounts for abusive purposes.
• We may suspend or delete accounts that break these terms, are used for abuse, or have been inactive for a long time. You can ask us to delete your account at any time.

5. Acceptable use

When using the Service you agree not to:

• use it for any unlawful purpose or in a way that could harm others;
• copy, scrape or download the Herb Library or other content in bulk, or use automated tools to access the Service without our permission;
• try to bypass security measures, interfere with the Service or overload it;
• misuse the Herbal Information Assistant, for example to generate harmful, misleading or offensive content, or to probe or reverse-engineer it.

6. Content and intellectual property

The texts, photographs, videos, illustrations, the Katina Trava name and logo, and the structure of the Herb Library are owned by Katina Trava or used under licence, and are protected by copyright and other intellectual-property laws.

You may view and use the content for your personal, non-commercial purposes. Any other use — including reproduction, publication, distribution or commercial use — requires our prior written permission. Short quotations with a clear reference to Katina Trava are welcome.

7. Links to other websites

The Service may link to third-party websites and services (such as Instagram or Telegram). We do not control them and are not responsible for their content or practices. Links are provided for convenience only and do not imply endorsement.

8. No warranty and limitation of liability

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. We do our best to keep the information accurate and the website running, but we do not guarantee that the Service will be error-free, uninterrupted or suitable for any particular purpose.

These terms are governed by the laws of Switzerland, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Mandatory consumer-protection rules of the country where you live remain unaffected.
